How to make a cupcake cardboard stand

1. Unroll your wrapping paper. Using the tier piece as a pattern, trace around each board leaving a 1/2" - 1" border. Cut gift wrap allowing with the overage. For the card board center supports, trace around the pieces exactly and cut to fit.
2. Lay the cardboard pieces on the wrong side of the wrapping paper. Cut into the wrapping paper border almost to the card board to create a fringe. (This will help to wrap the paper as close as possible to the boards and allow you to round the corners easily.) Fold each fringe over the board and tape securely. Repeat for all the tiers.
3.Using the glue stick, glue the wrapper paper to the stand supports.
4. Assemble your stand following the manufacturer's directions.
5.Glue ribbon onto the edges of the center supports to cover raw edges with the double stick tape or low-temp glue gun. You can also add a ribbon border on the bottom edge for a more finished look.
6.Using the double stick tape or low-temp glue gun, secure ribbon to the edges of the cupcake tiers.
